The False Doublet Evidence critical

Repeated strikes at the same location — dismissed as "pure coincidence"

Academic literature identifies these as "false doublets" — pairs of craters at the same spot formed millions of years apart. The lattice model reframes them as proof of node reactivation.

The 2015 Ar-Ar dating paper on Clearwater concludes the proximity is "most likely pure coincidence." Four independent re-dating studies on four separate sites all reach the same conclusion. The lattice model offers a single geometric explanation for all of them.

Dormant Nodes — Predictions 8 nodes, 0 known impacts

These nodes have the same lattice-line density as active nodes but no confirmed impacts within 15°. The model predicts undiscovered structures at each.

Connection to the Derivation Chain Φ = ∂tΦ

Why nodes exist

The 18 convergence nodes are not arbitrary coordinates. They emerge from the 210-gon primorial container — the geometric structure generated by the first four primes (2 × 3 × 5 × 7 = 210) — projected onto Earth's surface with Giza as origin and the golden angle (137.508°) as generator.

The derivation chain that produces this structure begins from a single axiom:

Φ = ∂tΦ → Φ(t) = Cet → R = 1 + 1/R → R = φ → an = an−1 + an−2 → an ~ Aφn → π = P5·arccos(Φ/P2) → dm/dn = φm−n → 1 axiom

Node activation — impacts recurring at the same geographic points across 2.2 billion years — is what first suggested the lattice isn't accidental. The false doublets (Sudbury + Wanapitei, Clearwater East + West, Suvasvesi South + North) are the strongest evidence: the same locations are struck again and again, separated by hundreds of millions of years. Coincidence explains one pair. The lattice explains all of them.

The full algebraic derivation is in Paper I. The astronomical distance test is in Paper II. The geographic proof — including these nodes — is in Paper III.

Conclusion: The lattice cycle has operated for at least 2.2 billion years (62 confirmed cycles). Over Earth's full 4.5 Ga lifetime, approximately 125 cycles have occurred.

We detect ~27% of all activations in the raw count — but correcting for the 70% of Earth's surface that is ocean (where crust is recycled every ~200 Myr by subduction), the adjusted detection rate on land reaches 91%. Nearly every activation that could be found, has been.

The literature's own estimate of ~36,000 craters >30 km (lunar scaling) vs. ~200 confirmed means we see <1% of all impacts. But impacts clustering at lattice nodes — not uniformly distributed — is what the eigenmode hypothesis predicts.

With ~350 craters still undiscovered on exposed land (Hergarten & Kenkmann 2015) and 14 million km² of unsurveyed Antarctic ice, the 8 dormant nodes are testable predictions.
